Pocklington Canal – Good News!
Good news!! The culvert at Canal Head has now been ‘cleaned out’ and repaired, so the Amalgamation is now in talks with the Canal & Rivers Trust to hopefully re-introducing the removed fish to the pound.

Pocklington Canal and the ‘Closed Season’
A question has been asked as to whether fishing is allowed on the Canal during the ‘close season’ as it is a triple SI (S.S.S.I.). Confirmation has been received from the Authorities that it is in order to fish in this Canal all year round.
