Pocklington Canal Update

It may look Ok but the canal head at Pocklington has an ongoing serious problem. The culvert under the road which provides the water is blocked and will require major expensive work. YDAA, the Canal and Rivers Trust, Natural England and the Pocklington Canal Society are working on a solution, but it will not be a quick fix. The fish have been relocated, and the canal head will not be restocked until any solution has been completed. The rest of the canal is not affected and we have had reports of a few fish being caught. The club are in discussion with the CRT on an ongoing basis.

PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO FISH IN THE CANAL HEAD FOR NOW !!
