Our online purchase system makes it easy to join the YDAA or renew your membership. Full YDAA Membership allows you to fish at all of our river, canal and stillwater venues including the Laybourne Lakes Complex. All memberships start on 1st January and run for a full year.
To purchase your membership first you need to select whether your are purchasing a new or renewing last years membership by clicking the “Join” or “Renew” toggle underneath these instructions. Next, simply click on the image, title or ‘Selection Options’ button of the membership level you require. This will take you to a separate page where you can select the number of rods you wish to use, enter you personal details such as your name and DOB, and, if you are buying an adult/senior citizens membership, whether or not to take advantage of claiming a free Junior membership. Click the “Add to Cart” button once done and you can either then click the “View Cart” link to checkout, or if required, return to the Buy Online page to add further memberships.
Once on the Checkout screen, you will will be required to fill in your billing details, answer a few supplementary questions that make our lives easier processing your order, and then select to pay via PayPal, BACS or by cheque.
Note: If you choose to pay by BACS, you must complete the payment process through your own bank. It is not an automatic process and your membership will not be processed until payment has cleared.
You have the option to register for an account on the YDAA website by clicking the Register/Login option in the Membership section of the main menu. This will allow you checkout when you renew your membership in the future without having to re-enter all your personal details. Please note that creating an account is not compulsory, and an account is not required to use the website as a whole.
Your membership card(s) will be posted out to you once your payment has cleared, and usually well within 14 days. If you have not received your membership card and wish to go fishing, please print out and take the email receipts that will have been sent to you as proof of purchase. The code for the gates on our locked-waters will be sent out to you in the final confirmation email when we have successfully taken payment for your membership.
If you are an adult or senior citizen joining the YDAA for the first time, or re-joining after a year or more’s break, you will need to pay a one-off joining fee of £10. This will be automatically added to the cost when you add the membership to your basket.
If you were a member last year, you will not have to pay the one-off joining fee and will get your membership at a reduced price. You will be asked to provide last years membership number before you add your new membership to the basket, so please have your details ready. We will be able to verify your details on our membership database.
