The organisers of the Veteran’s matches would like to express their appreciation to those ‘hardy souls’ who have supported the series through thick and thin during this rather difficult year. Hope to see you all again next year under better circumstances, possibly with better fishing especially on Brown’s Pool!!!
When match bookings are allocated the pegs to be used are also stipulated. It has been brought to our notice that this is being exploited, recently a match allocation of pegs 7-29 also pegged 1-6, thus preventing pleasure anglers from using those pegs. Clubs are requested to stick to the pegs allocated for their matches.

As John Stark was the organiser of the Laybourne Lakes Summer Series, unfortunately the decision has been taken to CANCEL these matches. It is hoped that the “Winter Series” will be run as normal.

On a recent match it has been reported that a large number of the pegs staked out the day before had been removed by persons unknown. If anyone ‘sussing out’ the venue sees this taking place will they immediately inform any of the Trustees or Committee. Thank you.
