Veteran Anglers Matches

Members over the age of sixty will be able to fish the first of this year’s Veteran’s Matches at Laybourne Lakes on Wednesday, 8th July.

Those wishing to fish should, in the first place, telephone Dave Carr on 01759 304176 or 07512 148 574 to book a place.

The match will be strictly limited to 26 anglers, so that we fish alternate pegs. Anglers should meet no earlier than 12:30 and be prepared to pay their entry fee [£4], and the optional pool [£3,] if feeling giddy, at the gate, where their peg will be drawn. They should then proceed directly to their peg and maintain social distancing at all times.

The protocols under which these matches will be run, will remain under constant review by the Trustees, and may be altered at their discretion, if and when the incidence of Covid-19 changes, and if and when Government Guidelines are amended.
