Park View Work Party – January 2025

There was a great turn out at Park View for the work party on 25th January, and lots of work completed, which complements the work done over the Christmas period and just about finishes off the work here for this period. Most swims have been enhanced with extra platforms, stone or wood chips and pathways around all the lake have been widened and stoned up or chipped. Lots of dangerous trees have been removed and the boathouse area completely opened to provide a wind tunnel across the lake. Likewise, the strawberry field side has had a hair cut to allow more sunlight and wind to massage the water. A good few swims have been opened and sleepers installed to provide a flat level area which we are sure will be enjoyed by both match, carp and pleasure anglers alike. With big bream, decent carp, pike and silvers, what more could you ask for at £49 for a whole year!
