Howsham – No ‘digging out’ please

A report has come in about the substantial ‘digging out’ of a peg above the bridge at Howsham. It should be noted that as part of the agreement with our riparian owner, there should be no creating of ‘large’ pegs on the entire length of the River Derwent Howsham water, both above and below the bridge, including the Kirkham stretches, particularly as they are subject to Site of Special Scientific Interest.
