Bank Work – Access to banks

There are increasing concerning reports from members of the access to the banks being rather less than expected.  This is in part as a result of the membership not responding to many appeals for assistance in the clearing of the banks. As said before the average age of the committee is well over 60 years, many not being ‘fit enough’ to undertake such tasks.

Unfortunately, we have temporarily lost the services of our Fishery Management Officer, which only compounds the problem. 

It’s no use sitting in your chair being a “keyboard warrior”, get out there and make things easier for you and your fellow anglers, by joining a scheduled work party under the jurisdiction or supervision of one or more of the Fishery Management Committee…………………..many hands make light work (old Chinese proverb).

We will publish the times and dates for work parties with as much notice as possible….please look out for announcements on our website, forum and social media outlets.

However, Government and Angling Trust guidelines must be in place at all times.
