Members should note, that the National Trust had decided to reopen their properties in closely monitored steps. Unfortunately, they believe that they will have more members accessing their grounds and gardens, as they cannot be allowed inside houses such as Beningbrough.
They have politely asked that we do not use our fishing rights when the river season reopens, as they are concerned about the potential number of people on the river bank and in the adjacent fields that they own.
The Trustees are in constant contact with the National Trust and hopes that this restriction will only be for a short while

Anyone found fishing on the Hall stretch will be subject to disciplinary action.
