Beningbrough Park Fishery (National Trust Property) – No Night Fishing
Members are requested NOT to night fish at Beningbrough Park, this is against the terms of our agreement with the National Trust. We would not support any YDAA member caught by N.T. staff to be breaking this agreement. Nor would our well behaved & responsible members be pleased if we were to lose this venue!
No Night Fishing at Palace Ings
Looking in the current Rule Book, you will note that Fulford/Palace Ings is shown as “Night Fishing Allowed” – this only applies to the Fulford Stretch, no night fishing is allowed on the Palace Ings stretch of these waters.
Beningbrough Park Night Fishing Issues
It is noted that certain anglers (and they have to be members) have been fishing at night on the lower half of the stretch, downstream of the Nidd mouth. Members are reminded that night fishing on the Park stretch is NOT allowed by instructions from the National Trust.
