Next Work Party – Hemingbrough Pond Saturday 8th February
WORK PARTY Next work party is on the 8th February at Hemingbourgh Pond. We plan to install new gates and fix steps and platforms. Tidy up trees and vegetation and clear swims. Meet 9-9.15 for a briefing. Sorry no juniors or pets (not us just insurance rules)
Hemingbrough Pond
Good reports from here show a good head of tench, bream and rudd being caught. The pond also holds some nice carp as well. However unfortunately, there have reports of poaching on the venue, and resources have been deployed to apprehend the culprits. “Night Permits” are still available for this water.

A report has been received that left in this peg were two carp ‘bolt rigs’ with treble hooks, baited with hair rigged sweetcorn. Adjacent were two cellophane bags. Hemingbrough Pond Lock
Following vandalising of the lock and its complete removal with chain, this has been replaced and will be replaced each time such vandalism happens. The fence is also to be strengthened.
