York Natural Environment Trust

This is a group of concerned individuals who are concerned about the plight of the green areas of York and are looking for some support from like-minded persons. Their aim is to promote, conserve, protect and enhance the natural environment of York and the immediate surrounding area. They own and manage several sites in the York area and liaise with Friends Groups all over the city. They are keen to educate the public in all aspects of conservation and the environment and carry out projects and any other work of a practical nature to improve, enhance and conserve that natural environment whilst commenting on local developments and planning issues.
