Website Upgrade and Maintenance

From Monday 25th November until the end of the month the YDAA website and forum will be unavailable for a much needed upgrade. During this time we will be:

Giving the whole website a complete overhaul with a brand new design.
Improving website security.
Bringing all functionality (club information, online membership, newsletter, forum etc) under a single platform.

As the webmaster, this will also make my life a whole lot more straightforward, making the site easier to maintain and prevent my having to jump from one platform to another to perform my regular tasks.

For the few members that use the Forum, we will also be taking the current system off line at the same time. We had hoped to be able to transfer all the content across to the new platform, but that has proved too difficult a task so we will be starting with a clean slate.

Should you wish to purchase day tickets for that week, could I please ask you to do so well in advance as the online shop will not be available during that period.

Although we have pencilled-in a whole week for the upgrade and testing, it may take less than that. I will keep you all notified via our Facebook page.
