Palace Ings (Fulford Water)

A Committee member visiting last Saturday (28th August) noted that the lock was not secured, and the chain was just hanging loose. Whilst this may not be anglers, but contractors working on site, members are reminded that these locks must be locked “lock to lock” when both entering and leaving the water, as this is a sensitive area, especially as now sheep are running on the land. If you arrive and find gate not secured, please lock the gate as instructed after entering or leaving. Contravention of this instruction may lose us the water.
