New stretch of the Selby Canal available

Amalgamation Adds to Waters Portfolio
Members of York and District of Anglers will be delighted to learn that a further stretch of the Selby Canal has been leased from the Canal & River Trust, which will be immediately open for fishing. Day tickets may be purchased  for £3:00 by non-members from Field Sports, New Street, Selby. Annual memberships cost £46 for adults, with concessions available.
Access to the new stretch of water may be gained at West Haddlesey, Burn Bridge and, from Burn village, at Paperhouse Bridge.
York Amalgamation also control fishing on the Selby Canal between Selby Basin and Brayton Bridge.
