A report has been made that an angler has ‘dug out’ a section of one of the pegs to fish in. Platforms have been provided here and fishing should only be undertaken from the constraints of the platform area, without attempting to “enhance” the fishing area provided. Taken to its ultimate conclusion, further “gardening” will only result in bank erosion and eventually the island will become unfishable.
