Claxton Pond & Sand Hutton Gravel Pits

A report has been received from a concerned angler about the huge amount of bait packaging, food and confectionary containers and drinks cans left around the overflowing ‘bin’ by the windmill at Claxton Pond, and also an estimated 4kg of beer cans, food wrappers, water bottles, wipes, toilet roll pieces, etc., left after what is thought to be an overnight session at Sand Hutton Gravel pits (NO night fishing). Whilst we are aware some of these events may not be down to anglers, this pond is not owned by YDAA, being rented from the Church Commissioners, and reports of this kind may lead to us losing the water.

Again, after many requests to the membership, please remove any rubbish and leave the waters as you would expect to find them.
