A massive thank you to all the guys who have taken part in the recent work parties at Laybourne. We have installed refuges for the fish to hide from predators, reduced the number of trees and created a wind tunnel to uplift oxygen content. Also, ongoing improvements are being made to platforms and access.
At a recent meeting of the Committee a selective programme of work needed to improve the fisheries was discussed and certain priorities were scheduled for attention.
