Security Locks

Complaints are still coming in saying that the locks do not release. If you find this is the case, push the hasp (the bent bit that goes into the lock), down into the lock – this seems to release something inside and the lock will then open.

Reports are also coming also of difficulty with the lock at the gate at Widdington. It is the landowners lock, and he is using our code.  If you experience difficulty there is a “button” on the bottom of the lock which, when depressed, should release the lock mechanism.

It has been noted that when used, the locks are not being replaced in the position where they were found. Members are reminded that these must be locked “lock to lock” and not “lock to chain”, as the latter prevents other users (farmers, etc..) from getting onto their fields/property.
