All locks to “Members only” waters have now been changed to the 2020 number. This will be found at the bottom of your membership card, which should be carried at all times when fishing, and must not be disclosed to any non-members.
When entering or leaving a ‘locked’ water please ensure that locks are secured “lock to lock”, that is, if there are two locks make sure that each lock hasp is secured to a link in the chain with the other end round the hasp of the other lock. Where there are three or more locks (other users have locks) make sure that each end lock is secured to a chain link, with the others connected hasp to hasp. This will ensure that all users will be able to use their own locks without disturbing other owner’s locks.
Members are also reminded that if the lock does not ‘open’ straightaway, then the hasp should be pushed down into the lock, this usually releasing the mechanism.
