Members will be pleased to know that the planned work at Laybourne was completed safely on time and under budget. As part of the clubs forward plan the work involved completing the installation of a rising main which will supply water to all the lakes along with a fence around Potters.
Potters will now be used as a holding and breeding lake. This will enable the club to improve the management of fish stock across its entire portfolio. The work was under taken by a cluster of willing helpers, with an average age of 67 and the Committee and Trustees wish to thank these guys on behalf of the membership for their commitment over the three days which they gave up.
Subject to funding more improvements will be taking place not only at Laybourne but on a number of other venues and details will be published when the time comes.
Please can members not alter any of the pipework or fencing, or enter the enclosed area without permission from the trustees.
