The fisheries management team would like to inform all members that the planned work party at Claxton Ponds on Saturday 11th February has been cancelled due to poor weather conditions. Please keep your eye on the forum thread here for further announcements regarding rescheduling the date, and for information on the health and safety issues that have arisen.

The fisheries management team would like to inform all members as to the forthcoming work party at Claxton Ponds on Saturday 14th January. This is to continue the good work started towards the end of last year, and all members are welcome to attend. Details can found on the forum here.

The organisers would like to thank all those who turned out for the Claxton work party at the weekend. A good time was had by all, and a great deal was achieved in a short period of time. A report on the day can be found on the forums. The date for the next work party at the venue has been set for Saturday 14th January at 8:30when it is hoped an even bigger impact will be made.

Claxton Ponds Work Party
The first of several work parties to help rejuvenate Claxton Ponds will take place on Saturday 10th December 2011. Full details can be found on the forums HERE. If you are serious about attending this work party, we would be grateful if you could let your intentions be know by replying to the forum thread. This is a great opportunity for the membership to give a little back to the association and return one of our under used venues to something like it's former glory....so please, get involved!!
