A YDAA membership run from the 1st January to the 31st December, and there are rates for adults, intermediates, juniors and OAPs. Many YDAA waters can also be fished on a day ticket, and a sixteen day holiday ticket gives access to all our waters.
The rules and regulations that are in place are there to protect our fisheries, their stock and our members. It is very important that every member is familiar with these rules, that cover both pleasure and match fishing.
Most tackle shops in the York area sell YDAA membership and day tickets, and a number of tackle shops from further afield also stock them. You will also find our memberships, and particularly day tickets, for sale in a range of other outlets in the local area.
The YDAA operates affiliation membership for clubs, providing access for matches on fisheries not normally available. Affiliated clubs are also given preferential bookings on association fisheries, at a lower rate than non-affiliated clubs.
From 6 April to 30 June each season, the areas below the falls at Acaster and at Widdington, can only be fished by members who have in their possession both a valid EA Game Fishing Licence and a valid YDAA Game Fishing Permit.
